Young People

The research theme Young People consists of the following projects:

 

Alcohol and Tobacco policies in high schools and vocational schools

The aim of this project is to get a better understanding of alcohol and tobacco use among students in Denmark, and further to analyze school’s alcohol and tobacco control policies and their relation to student alcohol and tobacco use.

 

The purpose is to develop, implement and evaluate a sustainable high school intervention to promote well-being and a healthy school day among high school students.

 

Young and Active

The aim of this study is to involve students in development and implementation of diverse activities which promote physical activity, enjoyment and sense of community in high schools and the local surroundings.

 

Shaping the Social/Vocational Schools
This multi-faceted project, which targets students attending vocational schools, is to prevent or reduce the harmful use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs and reduce drop-out rates.
